Search engine optimization can be a daunting task for many people and can be second nature to some. After all, SEO is not an exact science especially when search engines change their algorithms. Even the experts can be baffled by what big G and the rest are doing with the SERPs.
Nonetheless, SEO can still be made simple. With a dash of good will and a teaspoon of honesty, you can probably get that sweet spot you’ve been longing for in the search engine results pages. One good example is A Simple Life who after seeing one of my blog posts about an honest request for a link exchange also asked me if it would be possible to exchange links with him.
Well, I didn’t give him exactly what he wanted. Instead of a link exchange, I suggested some content exchange. I did this because I believe search engines give more value to links that are found in articles instead of those in the sidebar. You can read our communication here.
So there you go. Another good exchange of links with a fellow webmaster.

OK, I read that conversation and it’s just stupid.
“Perfect, just let me know when you’re ready”
I just can’t stop laughing….hahahah
Why not wave a white flag at Google and give up SEO now.
